Eric Larcher is a senior executive with global experience in technology & management roles across software, banking, insurance and services industries. He is known for his passion and ability to create new positions or reorganize existing complex IT organizations.
Eric is currently serving as the Group CISO of Maif insurance company. He was before CEO & founder of TEOS Cybersecurity, an IT security consulting firm. He was focused on Cybersecurity governance, audit / compliance (GDPR) and IoT Security.
Previously, Eric served as the Group CISO of SAB, the COO of OpenTrust / IDnomic and as the CTO of BPCE SA overseeing systems & networks architecture, engineering, integration and operations (including security operations).
Before that, Eric Larcher served as the (Deputy) CISO of many international companies like Edenred, Accor, Banque Populaire and BPCE during 15 years dealing with all aspects of infrastructure and software security as well as governance issues.
His background includes managing teams up to 180 FTE, recruiting high skilled professionals, negotiating up to millions of € contracts, increasing operational efficiency and leading IT projects to success.
Eric is a sought-after keynote speaker and an industry-recognized thought leader on Cyber Security and risk management. He is the author of the bestseller book “L’Internet sécurisé” (Eyrolles, 2000) and wrote many articles for publications like Information Security Bulletin and l’Informatique professionnelle.
Eric holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from ESME-Sudria and has graduated from Télécom ParisTech in IT Security.
